So among the few forums I frequent is the VGcats forum's webcomics section. They have a couple of pretty entertaining threads about "good" webcomics and "bad" webcomics, which are of course pretty suggestive. In one of the threads some idiot said something about you not needing to lay down a framework sketch to draw good characters and faces. He said it's a waste of time. Luckily, no one is dumb enough to listen to this guy but it made me want to do another tutorial video soon. So be on the lookout for it.
On an aside note, can anyone get me to be able to post on those forums? There's some bullshit lock on my posting ability which has been there since I signed up.

June 20th
I apologize for the lack of an update last week, and my little rant that went with it. I've definitely been feeling the effects of the future loss of Boxer Hockey. It really is has become a part of my life as large as any other. As I approach the last few strips I have to stop myself every day from reconsidering ending the series. But as my "professional" career grows more rapidly than expected, the webcomic Boxer Hockey just can't be a part of it. But enough blubbering from me now. There will plenty of that when I post the "last" comic next time.

June 10th
Sorry this one took so long. I had a lot of trouble coming up with a "punchline". Also, painting stadiums takes for-frikkin-ever. I've already started drawing the next one, so with any luck I'll have it up on Saturday like normal.

May 30th
Well I got out of finals alive, but through all the madness of finishing another year of school and moving out of my apartment and back to Charlotte, I didn't have time for a comic this week. In penance here's the cover to the eventual collection book which I hope to have ready by the end of the summer. I haven't worked out the logistics yet, seeing as how it's going to be like, a 75 page book. Also, for slightly more entertainment bang for your buck today, I've included my girlfriend's final short animation for her Flash course this quarter. I didn't really do anything but offer character design suggestions, so it's all her. Anyway it's pretty cute, so enjoy.

May 23rd
Sure, it's finals and all but I went ahead and put together a double length comic just for you. Because, damnit.. That's how much I care. Also, drama is over now pretty much. Back to the comic relief characters, I guess.

May 16th
Finals are upon us, and as you all know that means comickery suffers. I have an animatic to show you, but as followers of my youtube account can testify to, I've uploaded like 3 times and every time something new is wrong with it. Youtube hates .mov's apparently. I might have to just go back to school and re-render it tomorrow. :/ What you see above is an art direction panel for my final senior short film. Meaning, that is what the final movie will look like. Painted backgrounds, etc. You can see some early storyboards for it here.
